SharePoint Foundation 2013 Prerequisite keeps installing and restarting the server.

Issue: SharePoint Foundation 2013 Prerequisite keeps installing and restarting the server

Description: installation of the prerequisites for SharePoint 2013 foundation keep installing After the restart the server but never finishes and requires additional restarts.

Solution: please follow the below solution to get rid of the error. Delete the orphaned PendingFileRenameOperations registry key

1.   Open a registry editor, such as Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe.
2.   Navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\
3.   In the right navigation pane, right-click the PendingFileRenameOperations key and select Delete.
4.   Close Registry Editor

Some of the hardware requirement values in this article are based on test results from SharePoint 2010 Products and still apply to SharePoint 2013. This article will be updated with appropriate values and republished when new data becomes available. Hardware requirement values obtained from SharePoint 2010 Products that are listed in this article do not apply to search in SharePoint 2013.

This article links to SharePoint 2010 Products guidance where that guidance is still valid. The SharePoint 2010 Products guidance is not applicable for search in SharePoint 2013 because the search architecture has changed significantly.

Windows Server AppFabric is not correctly configured. You Should uninstall Windows server AppFabric and reinstall it using the SharePoint Products Preparation tool.



Windows Server AppFabric is not correctly configured. You Should uninstall Windows server AppFabric and reinstall it using the SharePoint Products Preparation tool.
                
                    

     Cause: The install software prerequisite passes\implement specific parameters to the AppFabric installation. which are not done if we run the AppFabric set up manually. So Let Tool install APP fabric to set up properly.

          Resolution: Let SharePoint Products Preparation tool  install APP fabric to set up properly.



  1.                     Click on Install Software Prerequisites.                                               


               After  Running the Prerequisite By Preparation tool, it was successful.

    Note: The Internet Access should need to have to server to Run by Product preparation tool.
